Buzz for Bigg Boss 19 is heating up, and all eyes are on Abhishek Bajaj. The actor (known for Student of the Year 2, Babli Bouncer, and Jubilee Talkies – Shohrat. Shiddat. Mohabbat) has impressed fans with his charm and screen presence. Now, reports say he might take the leap into reality TV and enter the Bigg Boss house.
Season 19 is titled “Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar” and promises power moves, alliances, and strategy. Abhishek could be a strong contender, bringing star power while staying relatable. His entry may spice up the house with drama, unexpected friendships, and rivalries.
What Abhishek Bajaj Said About Doing Bigg Boss 19 Recently
Nothing is officially confirmed yet, but social media and industry circles are buzzing. Abhishek has previously talked about exploring non-fiction shows but prioritises acting. In an interview with IANS, he said, “I enjoy playing characters more. I want to establish myself more as an actor first, before exploring non-fiction. There is a different kick when you play different roles; the audience connects and appreciates you for your onscreen presence as an actor.”
He added, “I enjoy it when they praise my craft and talent. But I always believe never say never…” Bajaj revealed that while he has been approached for reality shows before, he chose to focus on acting projects instead.
Talking about Bigg Boss, he said, “I feel Bigg Boss is a show in which contestants are put into an extreme situation, which you hardly experience in your real life. In reality, you have a choice to avoid and move on, or handle things more maturely. But while you are on the show, with every action, a public image of yours is set and that might not be exactly the real you but just a portrayal. I don’t find myself very comfortable with the concept. But I don’t believe in running away from challenges, so I can’t really say if it may happen or not to me in future.”
Actor Interested In THESE Film Genres
Abhishek is also keen to explore different genres in films. “As an actor I’m yet to explore so much. Like, I really want to do action comedy. I feel my sense of humour is very good. People have not seen me in the comedy zone.” He also expressed interest in romantic comedies, historical dramas, fantasy films, and superhero roles.
Apart from Abhishek, rumours suggest other actors like Gaurav Khanna, Ashnoor Kaur, Payal Gaming, and Apoorva Mukhija could enter Bigg Boss 19. The grand premiere episode is scheduled to premiere on August 24 on JioHotstar and Colors TV. It is being said that several politicians (including Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad) will be seen in the first episode. The media house tour was expected to take place yesterday, but was later cancelled due to the Mumbai rains.
