Bigg Boss 19: Two Salman Khan Co-Stars Who Have Rejected The Show, Gave Big HITS With Bhaijaan, Check

Bigg Boss 19 is already creating waves ahead of its expected premiere on the last weekend of August 2025 (tentatively 29-30 August). Reports suggest this season might stream on a Jio platform first, followed by a television telecast on Colours. The season is likely to run for nearly five months. Buzz hints that Farah Khan, Karan Johar, and Anil Kapoor could step in as guest hosts after Salman Khan’s opening stint, with the superstar returning for the finale. While official confirmation is still awaited, preparations for the show are reportedly in full swing.

Not all celebrities rumoured to join are willing to be part of the Bigg Boss 19 house. Two of Salman Khan’s co-stars (Daisy Shah and Zareen Khan) have turned down the offer, despite ongoing speculation linking them to the show.

Bigg Boss 19: Daisy Shah Says “Probably Never Will”

Daisy Shah addressed the rumours herself with a straightforward statement. On Instagram, she wrote: “Putting an end to all the rumours. I am not doing Bigg Boss. Probably never will. Dhanyawad.” Daisy, who starred alongside Salman Khan in Jai Ho and later in Race 3, has reportedly been approached for previous seasons as well. 

The actor has made it clear that she’s not keen on entering the reality show format, preferring to stay away from the constant chaos and drama.

Zareen Khan On Saying No And Why She’d Get Thrown Out

Zareen Khan was equally direct when asked about her participation. She admitted she was approached but chose to decline. She shared with a media outlet, “I don’t think I can live in a house with so many people that I don’t know. I’m not sure how comfortable I would be. Also, I can’t tolerate misbehaviour. Mera haath uth jayega, fir mujhe bahar hie phenk denge. So it’s better I don’t go (laughs). Main 100% jaanti hu mera haath uth jayega.” 

Zareen also mentioned that personal responsibilities and the show’s demanding schedule influenced her decision to stay out.

Actresses’ Association With Bigg Boss 19 Host Salman Khan

Daisy Shah played Rinky Shah, the female lead opposite Salman Khan, in Jai Ho. The 2014 action drama, directed by Sohail Khan, revolved around Major Jai Agnihotri’s mission to promote kindness and social change. The film had a running time of around 142 minutes and collected over Rs 100 crore worldwide. It was declared a Semi-Hit by trade analysts.

Zareen made her Bollywood debut with Veer (2010), starring as Princess Yashodhara opposite Salman. The period drama, set in the 19th century, featured large-scale battle sequences and a dramatic love story. While the movie opened well, it received mixed reviews and finished with an Average verdict at the box office. Zareen also made a cameo with Salman in the hit track “Character Dheela” from Ready, which became a chartbuster.

Meanwhile, casting for Bigg Boss 19 is underway, with the makers finalising a mix of TV stars, influencers, and wild-card entries. Teaser promos are expected by the end of July 2025.
