Following her ejection from the Bigg Boss house, Puri opened up about the controversy surrounding a 'kiss' during a live session on social media.

Eviction After the Kiss Controversy

Post the infamous 'kiss controversy' with fellow contestant Zaid Hadid, Akanksha Puri found herself facing eviction. Alongside Puri, Abhishek Malhan and Jia Shankar were also in the eviction list. In a task given during the weekend episode, the trio had to decide amongst themselves who would exit the house. After a group discussion, Puri was ultimately chosen to leave by show host, Salman Khan.

Once outside the Bigg Boss house, Akanksha Puri expressed her discontent with the show, accusing it of playing a double game. She claimed that the show used the 'kiss scene' for promotional activities, yet decided to evict her. Puri further criticised the show for their incessant instructions to the housemates on what they should or should not do, while failing to prevent the kiss controversy.

Puri Takes Aim at Bigg Boss and Salman Khan

In her live video, Puri not only targeted Bigg Boss but also pointed a finger at show host Salman Khan. She alleged that the show was portraying the entire incident in a misleading way to the public, and argued that if the 30-second kiss was indeed a major issue, the show could have intervened immediately to prevent it.
