Bloody Daddy teaser: Shahid Kapoor turns mafia in this revenge thriller by Ali Abbas Zafar

Bloody Daddy teaser: The official teaser of Shahid Kapoor's upcoming film Bloody Daddy was released on Thursday. The film was a part of 100 projects announced by Jio Studios on Wednesday in a star-studded event. The teaser of Blood Daddy also features a glimpse of Sanjay Kapoor and Diana Penty. The film has been helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar of the Ek Tha Tiger fame.

The intriguing teaser of Blood Daddy was dropped on Thursday. The teaser shows Shahid Kapoor entering a dark hallway. Donning a black suit, the actor oozes major mafia vibes. Dressed just right for the act, he then goes to take goons down as he performs some high-octane action sequences. The show then features his back story which tells that he is seeking revenge for a personal crisis. Shahid shared the teaser on his Instagram and wrote in the caption: "Get ready for a BLOODY good time at the movies. #BloodyDaddy June 9, 2023 on @officialjiocinema." Check out the teaser below:

About Bloody Daddy

Bloody Daddy has been adopted from the 2011 French film Nuit Blanche. The film marks first collaboration between Shahid Kapoor and Ali Abbas Zafar. Previously, in an interview with Pinkvilla, the director stated that Bloody Daddy will be remade from the original French film and released on OTT. "We packed and presented it as a brand-new film. What excites me the most is the fact that Shahid will be seen in an action film for the first time. It's a cool modern action film. It has a lovely story, but it's a commercial pot-boiler," he said.

The film is expected to have a direct OTT release.
