Ahan Shetty’s first-look poster from Border 2 was dropped recently, and it has taken over social media. The makers shared the poster on Tuesday, and fans immediately reacted to his fierce Navy officer avatar. Salman Khan, Suniel Shetty, Athiya Shetty and Diljit Dosanjh extended their support to Ahan for his comeback project.
Border 2 Poster Shows Shetty As Fierce Narvy Officer
The poster shows Ahan in the middle of action. He looks injured but focused as he fires at the enemy. The makers shared the image with the caption: “Sarhad ho ya Samandar… Dharti Maa ka har beta ek hi kasam nibhaata hai.” The film releases on 23 January 2026.
Suniel Shetty, who starred in the original Border in 1997, shared a heartfelt message for his son. He wrote, “Honour… leaves its mark. And courage looks good on you, son.”
Athiya Shetty also praised her brother and wrote, “Just toooooo goood!!!!!!! I’m so excited.”
Diljit Dosanjh (who plays a key role in Border 2) wrote, “FIRE.” Salman Khan also reposted the poster on his Instagram Stories and wrote, “Best wishes for the film.”
The poster also sparked jokes on Reddit. One user wrote, “If he doesn’t say ‘ये धरती मेरी दादी माँ है’, I’m not going.” The line refers to Suniel Shetty’s famous dialogue “Yeh dharti meri maa hai” from the first film. Many fans are now hoping for a fun callback in the sequel.
Ahan recently opened up about how the film affected him. After wrapping the shoot, he wrote, “Walking off set today feels heavier than I expected. This film challenged me and gave me moments I’ll never forget.” He also said Border 2 is “more than just a film… It carries the weight of real stories, real courage, and the patriotism that lives beyond the screen.”
