Box Office Collection: Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film Jawan is garnering a lot of attention and making waves on the internet with record-breaking collections. Ever since its release, Jawan has been shattering records and setting the bar high for upcoming films. The film is rock steady and came closer to the 400-crore mark. On September 13, it garnered Rs 368 crore in domestic collections. The action-thriller, directed by Atlee, also topped the Rs 600-crore mark internationally in less than a week. The Shah Rukh Khan-starring film continues to dominate the box office.

‘Jawan’ is causing a box office tsunami. On Day 1, the film grossed Rs 74.50 crore in India across all languages. The film went on to become the highest opening day in Hindi cinema history, grossing Rs 129.06 crore globally. According to trade reports, ‘Jawan’ made Rs 23.3 crore net in India on Day 7, September 13. As a result, India’s total collection now stands at Rs 368.38 crore. On September 13, ‘Jawan’ had an overall occupancy of 23.53 per cent.
Surprisingly, ‘Jawan’ has surpassed ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘Pathaan’ to become India’s fastest film to reach the Rs 300-crore mark. While ‘Jawan’ broke this barrier on Day 6, ‘Pathaan’ did it on Day 7, and ‘Gadar 2’ did so on Day 8.

‘Jawan’ was released in theatres globally on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film, directed by Atlee, stars Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani. Deepika Padukone makes a cameo appearance.
The film is a commercial entertainer in which SRK plays both an intelligence officer and a burglar. Filming took place in Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan, and Aurangabad. Anirudh Ravichander composed for the film and made his Bollywood debut as a solo composer.
