BTS Jin: BTS member Jin, aka Kim Seok-jin, is back in the news after earning a trip after placing first in a military talent competition.

The sources claim that Jin's team took first place at a talent competition honoring Seollal. The singer and his crew received an additional day of vacation as payment. Additionally, according to sources, Jin personally instructed his crew in the choreography that helped them win the tournament.

Since enrolling in the 5th Infantry Division recruit training facility in December, Jin has successfully finished his five weeks of basic training and participated in his graduation ceremony on January 18. BTS, the oldest K-Pop group, completed their required military service by South Korean legislation. The singer gave his fans their first official looks at him since enlisting in the military at the beginning of this month. With frequent tweets on Weverse, the BTS member has been informing fans of his progress. Jin penned: "I'm enjoying my life. I'm posting pictures after getting permission from the military. ARMY, be happy and take care ."

Jin officially reported for duty on December 13, 2022. Jin has been training at a front-line army division's boot camp in Yeoncheon, 60 kilometers north of Seoul, according to several reports. BTS's management company, BigHit Music, issued an appeal to fans on Thursday asking them to refrain from sending presents and letters to member Jin while he is completing his required military service. On December 13, 2022, the 30-year-old vocalist, whose full name is Kim Seok-jin, formally reported for service. In Yeoncheon, a city 60 kilometres north of Seoul, a boot camp of a front-line army division is where Jin is reportedly receiving training, according to Korean media.

When will Other Members of BTS Join the Military?

In South Korea, a two-year military enlistment is a requirement for all physically fit men between the ages of 18 and 28. All BTS members had the choice to postpone their mandatory military service until they turned 30. Other members, such as RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, intend to carry out their plans in order to fulfil their military responsibilities. The band, which debuted in 2013, announced a summer sabbatical for 2022. They plan to come back together after serving in the military, probably around 2025.
