Just a day after completing his military service, BTS Jungkook has become the target of a disturbing break-in attempt at his Seoul home. A woman in her 30s, who claimed to be a fan, was arrested for trying to enter his residence using the door lock pin code.
The woman (identified as a Chinese national) was caught by security after several failed attempts to unlock the door. When questioned by police, she reportedly said, “I wished to see Jungkook after his discharge from the military.”
BTS Jungkook Gets Huge Fan Support After Military Return
Jungkook finished his 18-month military stint on June 11, walking out of the Army’s 5th Infantry Division to massive fanfare. Supporters from across the globe gathered to welcome him, many waving placards and cheering loudly outside the base.
He was joined by fellow member Jimin, who was also discharged on the same day. Earlier, RM and V (Kim Taehyung) had also returned, with RM creating a buzz by playing a saxophone tune in uniform. The fandom excitement around the group’s return has hit new heights.
Fan Intrusion At Jungkook's House Raises Alarm
The attempted intrusion has sparked a wider conversation about boundaries and the need for stricter security for K-pop stars. With six BTS members now back from service, their return has stirred anticipation, but also highlighted risks tied to obsessive fan behaviour.
BTS Jin (the eldest member) completed his service on June 12, 2024. J-Hope also returned in October 2024. Only Suga remains on duty as a public service officer, with his discharge expected on June 21, 2025. The full group reunion is in sight, but their safety remains a top concern as of now.
