BTS Jungkook Scripts Another Golden Record At BBMAs, Wins THIS Award Despite being in Military, Check

BTS Jungkook: Not everyone can be a superstar like BTS' youngest member Jungkook. This sentence became a reality on the morning of 13th December 2024 when Jungkook won two awards at the Billboard Music Awards. He achieved this massive win on the 1st anniversary of his military enlistment. Let's take a look at his BBMAs win.  

BTS Jungkook Scripts Another History with his 'GOLDEN'

BTS youngest member aka Golden Maknae Jungkook is known for scripting various records on global platforms. First with Seven then 3D, he has created a new name for himself on the international stage, King of Pop. The singer has big achievements under his name and to add another diamond to his crown BBMAs presented two honors for BTS member. 

Recently, BBMAs announced Jungkook as the winner of two K-pop awards. The BTS singer won Top K-Pop Album for “GOLDEN” and Top Global K-Pop Song for “Standing Next to You.” Despite not being able to perform the whole year, BTS Jungkook still managed to beat some of the biggest contenders on the list. Jungkook enlisted in the military on December 12th, 2023 and exactly after a year, 3D singer won the accolades. 

BTS Jungkook's Album GOLDEN was released on 3rd November and the title track Standing Next to You created a ruckus on YouTube. Currently, his song has 164M views on the platform.

Who Else Won in the K-pop Categories?

This year at the BBMAs witnessed not only BTS members but some other winners from the K-pop industry as well. 4th Generation lead group Stray Kids named as the Top Global K-pop Artist. One of the very few K-pop groups with more than 10 members, Seventeen won Top K-pop Touring Artist at the BBMAs 2024. 

Fans React to Jungkook's Special Win

BTS Jungkook fans are overjoyed to see the 3D singer getting his dues. As soon asthe billboard announced the winners, they immediately took to the internet and congratulated the BTS member.
