Born in Gwalior and raised in Madhya Pradesh, Kartik dreamt of acting since his college days. While pursuing an engineering degree, he'd travel long distances to attend auditions. His dedication paid off when he finally landed his first film, "Pyaar Ka Punchnama," in 2011. Interestingly, he only informed his parents about his acting career during auditions, at his mother's insistence, he completed his engineering degree.

Rise to Stardom and Box Office Success

Kartik's portrayal of relatable characters in movies like "Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2," "Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety," and "Lukka Chuppi" made him a household name. By 2019, he was a bankable star, collaborating with big production houses and filmmakers like Karan Johar. He was even signed for the much-anticipated "Dostana 2."

Challenges and Comeback

However, in 2021, Kartik was reportedly removed from "Dostana 2" due to alleged differences with the director. Despite these setbacks, he bounced back with a power-packed performance in "Dhamaka." Then, in 2022, he delivered a blockbuster hit with the horror-comedy "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2," proving his box-office mettle. His latest film, "Satyaprem Ki Katha," was also well-received.

A true car enthusiast, Kartik started with a modest third-hand car in his initial days. Today, his collection boasts luxurious models like the BMW 5 Series, McLaren GT, Mini Cooper S, Lamborghini Urus Capsule, and most recently, a Range Rover SV.
