Cannes 2023: The 76th Cannes Film Festival commenced amid much fanfare from May 16 at Cannes’ Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.
Like always, this year too global celebrities from the entertainment industry are attending world’s biggest film festivals on Ruviera. Bollywod stars Sara Ali Khan, Esha Gupta and Urvashi Rautela walked the red carpet on Day one.
Bollywood diva Urvashi Rautela made a style statement at the 76th Cannes carnival as she walked the red carpet for the second time on Tuesday. The film festival began with the premiere of Johnny Depp’s film Jeanne du Barry.
Urvashi looked stunning in an enormous pink tulle gown with tiered layers of floral ruffles. But what grabbed eyeballs was her Cartier neckpiece featuring two intertwined alligators. The neckpiece could be removed and worn as brooches too. The actress complimented the whole look with a high neat bun and hoops of the same design. She completed the look with bold eye makeup, a dewy base and matching lipstick.

Urvashi Rautela to present Parveen Babi biopic
And if you are unaware, the former Indian Miss Diva will present a Parveen Babi biopic at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. Urvashi will be part of a photocall launch event, where she will have a platform to represent her character. It will give a glimpse of what lies ahead for the highly anticipated film’s release. According to information, the biopic is a homage to Parveen Babi, who took the Indian film industry by storm in the 70s and the 80s. Cannes Film Festival honours cinematic marvels from throughout the world.
Many Indian celebs are making their debut appearances this year including Sara Ali Khan, Esha Gupta, Mrunal Thakur, Manushai Chillar, and others.
