Payal Kapadia was among the top Indians at the red carpet of Cannes Film Festival 2024. She, along with her team, stunned everyone with mesmerizing looks at the red carpet. Along with that, her All We Imagine As Light scripted history at the event because the film received a 8-minute standing ovation from the guests after the screening. Indian celebrities Kiara Advani and Kiran Rao showered them with praises.
Anusuya Sengupta
Indian actress also scripted history with her win at the film festival. She became the first Indian actress to win the Best actress award in the prestigious award. Her appearance won the hearts of the audience and her win was celebrated by every Indian. She won this award for The Shameless.
FTII Students
On Thursday, the Cannes Film Festival 2024 presented the La Cinef Award to the short film Sunflowers Were The First Ones To Know. Chidananda S Naik, a student at The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), is the director of the movie. The Kannada folktale about an elderly woman who occurs to pilfer a rooster served as its inspiration.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made two appearances at the film festival in her stunning attires and she left the internet awestruck. Her beautiful looks have generated a lot of buzz and her second appearance was something that left everyone spellbound. She wore a green and silver ensemble and garnered attention of every guest out there.
