Chhath 2022: The Chhath celebration of sun worship has begun following Diwali. It won’t be wrong to say that this festival is probably the biggest for people from Bihar. Bollywood’s one of the most renowned actor, Pankaj Tripathi, too used to observe Chhath with a lot of fanfare.
He used to visit his village and participate in this event with family members, just like any other regular person, but this time he won’t be able to. He will remain in Mumbai and perform Arghya. Additionally, he has made unique preparations for this.
According to Pankaj Tripathi, he used to visit the village whenever his mother observed the Chhath fast. However, her mother had to quit observing Chhath due to age restrictions, and her sister-in-law began fasting. Previously, Pankaj would just travel home for Chhath, but now he also visits Mumbai, where the celebration is being observed.
He says that he is planning to celebrate Chhath in Juhu Chowpatty this year. Another fascinating thing he said was that nobody had noticed him last time when he went to enjoy the festivities.

He stated that Biharis celebrate this occasion as being very important. He said that this is also one’s opportunity to express thanks to nature as it links individuals with one another. Moreover, he added that the festival is celebrated with unity in the villages.
