Cirkus teaser: The makers of Rohit Shetty's next flick Cirkus have dropped a teaser-cum-trailer announcement on Monday morning. For the first time in his career, Ranveer Singh plays two characters in this adaption of William Shakespeare's A Comedy of Errors. The teaser shows Ranveer and the rest of the actors explaining the film's USP and why it's great that it's set in the 'simple' 1960s. The video also has several references from the pop culture as the actors' draw a comparison between present time and the 60s.

Cirkus teaser, trailer release date out

While the teaser does not reveal anything from the film, it does show the complete cast talking to the audience outside of a circus. Sanjay Mishra and Johnny Lever transport viewers to the 1960s, the "good old days" when children asked their grandparents for answers rather than Googling them, and when there was no breaking news. We then see two Ranveer Singhs as they explain Cirkus is a narrative about "when parents' love was more important than social media likes."

Mukesh Tiwari repeats one of his famous lines from Golmaal (another Rohit Shetty film): "Jaldi bata subah Panvel nikalna hai (Tell us quickly, we have to go for Panvel in the morning)." Ranveer then announced that the trailer will be out on December 2. Here, take a look:
