Congratulations have poured in as Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor announced pregnancy on Monday. Sonam is expecting her first child with husband Anand Ahuja and they have shared the happy news on social media.
Sharing photos from the maternity shoot, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja wrote, “Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you. #everydayphenomenal #comingthisfall2022.”
For the maternity shoot, Sonam Kapoor wore a black full-shelves monokini and was seen resting her head on Anand Ahuja’s lap. The first photo shows Sonam Kapoor cradling her baby bump while lying on the couch with Anand Ahuja. In the last photo, the parents-to-be can be seen sharing a hearty laugh.
Multiple celebrities and fans wished the couple on their big news. Kareena Kapoor wrote, “Wohoooooooo soooo happy for you both. Can’t wait for the babies to play.” Dia Mirza wrote, “Such wonderful news!!! So happy for you.” Ananya Pandey wrote, “Congratulations.”
After dating each other, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja got married in May 2018 in Mumbai. The two are currently staying at their residence in Delhi.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonam was last seen in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga wherein she shared screen space with father Anil Kapoor for the first time.
