Delhi Crime Season 2 Review: Shefali Shah’s crime thriller lacks the punch of the first season

Delhi Crime Season 2: The first season of ‘Delhi Crime’ was based on the 2012 Nirbhaya gang rape in Delhi, which shocked the entire nation. The web series based on this incident was well received by the audience. The International Emmy-winning streaming series ‘Delhi Crime’ is back for its second season, and the trailer for Season 2 was released on 31 July. From Today, the series is streaming on Netflix.

Storyline of Delhi Crime Season 2

In Delhi Crime Season 2, a serial killer targets the elderly while wearing briefs and vests. This gang is known as ‘Kachha-Baniyan.’ This gang robs the elderly by taking bribes in people’s homes at night and then brutally murders them. This gang has caused widespread panic in the city of Delhi. The police are taken aback and surprised by this.

Review: The series is overall is good and also does impact & impress but it could have added a few more great moments, especially during the initial phase of the season.

At the 47th International Emmy Awards, the first series received the Outstanding Drama Series Award. Richie Mehta, S.K. Global Entertainment, Golden Caravan, and Film Caravan produce the series, and Tanuj Chopra directs ‘Delhi Crime 2’. The series, written by Mayank Tiwari, Shubhra Swaroop, Ensia Mirza, Sanyukta Chawla Sheikh, and Virat Basoya, is now available on the OTT platform Netflix.
