Dev Joshi, who portrayed the lead in the TV serial Baal Veer, is one of eight persons who will travel around the moon in a spacecraft. They will spend six days travelling around the moon's orbit on the spaceship Starship created by Elon Musk's SpaceX before returning to Earth. It will not set foot on the moon. Dev expressed his joy by posting a collage of photos of his fellow travelers on Instagram.
Dev Joshi shared the photo of his space crew and wrote in the caption, “Here's the Surprise!!! Proud to be part of such a Wonderful Team of #dearMoonproject #dearMoon. I can't express my Happiness when I am sharing this wonderful news with you, but I can say that this is going to be huge!!!! Dear Moon is what we have been working hard for past 18 months and finally, I am sharing this with you all. Life gives you an opportunity, you just need to work hard and stay focused to concentrate on the things, which matter in your life. I am proud to represent my country in the field of Space and Art together ! We all are artistes and we are going to the Moon.... Thank you so much for all of your love and support.”

Dev Joshi, who starred in “Balveer,” will be one of the eight people chosen for Maezawa’s “Dearmoon” project, he tweeted. T.O.P, who began his career as the lead rapper for the K (Korean)-pop group “BIG BANG,” will also be travelling with them. The other members who are going to Moon are American DJ Steve Aoki, filmmaker Brendan Hall and Youtuber Tin Dodd.
