Devrani Jethani Aur Woh is set up in Bhagwapur which is famous for all the wrong reasons. In Bhagwapur lives a spoiled brat named Sarja who loves to tame women for fun. He has his eyes set on a girl from neighboring village. While the girl is head over heels in love with him, he could not care less. However, things get messy for him when the girl expresses her desire to marry him. Despite his disinterest, he presents himself in front of the girl's father who, at no cost, will let him marry his daughter.

After some time, he sets his eyes on another woman who is married. However, she is all that he ever wanted. But she is not someone who can be tamed. This intrigues him even more. He somehow manages to woo her. But turns out he is only doing get his revenge. Recalling how she rejected him in the first go, he throws her into the water. Will she survive?
