Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and dancer-influencer Dhanashree Verma remain in the news even months after their divorce. The former couple officially ended their marriage in March 2025. Recently, fresh rumours suggested they might reunite on screen in an upcoming reality show titled The 50. However, Chahal has now clearly denied these reports.
Yuzvendra Chahal DENIES Reunion Rumours
In the last few days, social media has been flooded with claims that Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma could appear together on The 50, a reality show set to premiere on February 1. Due to their widely discussed separation, the possibility of an on-screen reunion quickly caught public attention and triggered online chatter.
Putting an end to the speculation, the 35-year-old leg-spinner addressed the issue directly on Instagram. He denied any connection with the show and called the reports false. His statement read, “There is no truth to the reports currently circulating about Yuzvendra Chahal’s participation in any reality show. These claims are speculative and incorrect. Yuzvendra is not associated with the show mentioned in recent reports, and there are no discussions or commitments of this nature. We request media platforms and social media users to refrain from spreading unverified information.”

With this clarification, Chahal made it clear that he will not be sharing screen space with his former wife.
Dhanashree Verma Stays Silent
While Chahal has firmly dismissed the rumours, Dhanashree Verma has not reacted to reports linking her to The 50. The reality show will be hosted by filmmaker Farah Khan and has already created buzz for its unique format. Farah has said that Indian reality shows have followed the same pattern for years, and The 50 aims to bring a fresh approach.
As of now, there is no confirmation about Dhanashree’s participation. Her silence has only increased curiosity among fans.
Yuzvendra Chahal And Dhanashree Verma’s Relationship
Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma got married in December 2020 in Gurugram, in the presence of family and close friends. Their relationship initially received a lot of love online. Reports suggested they grew close when Dhanashree taught Chahal dance.
Over time, their busy careers reportedly created distance between them. After living separately for nearly two years, they filed for divorce, which was finalised in March 2025 without a cooling-off period. Both have maintained that the decision to separate was mutual.
During this period, the couple also faced heavy online trolling. Reports claimed that Chahal paid Rs 4.75 crore as alimony, but neither party confirmed the amount.
After the divorce, Chahal was seen watching the Champions Trophy final in Dubai with RJ Mahvash, leading to dating rumours. Mahvash has repeatedly said they are just friends. Meanwhile, Dhanashree spoke briefly about her personal life and marriage during her appearance on the reality show Rise and Fall, which brought her back into the spotlight.
