Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge Box Office Collection Day 29: Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge continues to drop during the weekday slowdown at the box office. The latest update confirms a noticeable dip in daily earnings after a dominant theatrical run.

The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, had enjoyed an extended strong run for nearly a month. However, the latest figures suggest the momentum is cooling as it enters its fifth week in theatres.

With this, the film’s total India net collection now stands at Rs 1102.63 crore. Its India gross total has reached Rs 1319.89 crore. Despite the slowdown, the film remains one of the highest earners in Indian cinema history.

About The Sequel

Even as the Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge Day 29 BO Collection slows down, the film has already crossed several major milestones. It has surpassed the lifetime earnings of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, RRR, Kalki 2898 AD, KGF: Chapter 2, Jawan, Pathaan, Stree 2 and Animal in India collections.

However, it still faces a tough challenge in beating Pushpa 2: The Rise, which remains one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time with Rs 1234.10 crore.

Industry experts now believe it may fall just short of overtaking that record, despite its strong start and long theatrical run.

Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge Battles For More Screens Than Bhooth Bangla

Alongside box office performance, Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge Day 29 BO Collection discussions are also linked to a major screen-sharing controversy.

Reports suggest that the makers pushed for an extended exclusive theatrical run, especially in single-screen theatres. This reportedly limited the availability of screens for new releases like Bhooth Bangla.

The film’s dominance even led to disputes over show allocations, with some theatres reportedly forced to dedicate a large share of screenings to Dhurandhar 2 despite its declining daily numbers.

Industry sources indicate that this aggressive screen strategy created tension between distributors and exhibitors during the release window.

About The Sequel

Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge continues the story of Ranveer Singh’s character, an Indian spy trained to infiltrate criminal networks in Lyary. The sequel explores his deeper transformation into Hamza Ali Mazari and his mission to dismantle terror operations threatening India.

The film also features intense conflict sequences, including a major face-off between Ranveer Singh and Arjun Rampal. The cast includes R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun and Danish Pandor.

Released on March 19, the film also had paid previews on March 18 and was released across multiple languages.
