The Ranveer Singh starrer is holding strong even on weekdays, showing its massive popularity among audiences. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is now one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema.
Released on March 19, Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge opened to huge numbers and has remained steady since then. Even after the first weekend, the film is earning more than Rs 40 crore daily. This kind of consistency is rare and has helped it become the second-highest-grossing Bollywood film in India.

Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge started strong with Rs 43 crore in paid previews. It then collected a massive Rs 102 crore on its opening day. The film went on to record two more Rs 100+ crore days. It also registered the biggest Monday collection in Indian cinema history.
As expected, collections dipped slightly during the weekdays. On Wednesday, the film earned around Rs 48 crore after a 15% drop. Despite this, the total quickly crossed Rs 623 crore.
On Thursday, the film saw a boost again due to the Ram Navami holiday. The occupancy stayed solid, with morning shows at 24.62%, afternoon at 41.54%, and evening at 43.38%. The film earned Rs 49.70 crore net, taking its total to Rs 674.17 crore in just eight days.
With this, Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge has crossed the lifetime collections of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan (Rs 640.25 crore) and Prabhas’s Kalki 2898 AD (Rs 646.31 crore). It has now left behind almost every Bollywood film and is moving towards bigger pan-India records like RRR, KGF Chapter 2, Pushpa 2 and Baahubali 2 The Conclusion. Its next target in India is SS Rajamouli’s RRR, which has a lifetime net of Rs 782 cr.

Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge has achieved several milestones in a short time. It crossed Rs 600 crore within its first week, becoming one of the fastest films to reach this mark. It also went ahead of Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava and the hit film Stree 2 at the domestic box office.

Soon after, it crossed the lifetime earnings of Jawan, marking another big achievement. Right now, only one Bollywood film is ahead of it and its own first part. The first Dhurandhar had set a huge record with Rs 895 crore in India. Now, the sequel will soon beat that number and become the biggest Bollywood film ever.
Trade experts believe the film will continue its strong run because of positive word of mouth. Some even feel it could challenge the global record of Aamir Khan‘s Dangal, which earned around Rs 2070 crore worldwide.
Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film also stars R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.
