Dhurandhar 2 Viral Video: The release of Dhurandhar The Revenge (Dhurandhar 2) did not go as smoothly as expected. A viral video from Mumbai has now grabbed attention after angry fans were seen arguing with theatre staff when a scheduled screening was cancelled at the last minute. The film stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role and had paid previews on Wednesday, one day before its official release on March 19. However, what was meant to be a grand start turned into chaos due to technical problems across several cinemas.
According to reports, multiple shows in different cities were delayed or cancelled because the final version of the film did not reach theatres on time. This created confusion among moviegoers who had already bought tickets and were waiting inside theatres for hours.

The incident that is now going viral happened at Gold Cinemas in Malad, Mumbai. A video shared by an Instagram user, @girlbehindthebrands, shows fans loudly arguing with theatre staff after the screening was suddenly called off. Many people in the video can be heard asking why the film was not playing even after a long wait.
As per the post, viewers had been waiting for nearly one and a half hours before they were informed that the show had been cancelled. Some fans said they had travelled from far away just to watch the film during the paid preview and were not ready to leave without getting a proper explanation.

Several theatres across the country faced similar issues. In some places, shows started very late, while in others the screenings were cancelled completely. Some cinemas offered refunds, but the delay still left many fans upset.
Technical Issues Delay Dhurandhar 2 Shows Across India
Reports suggest that the problem happened because of last-minute technical glitches and delays in delivering the film’s digital keys and final prints. In Delhi-NCR, screenings at theatres in Noida and Greater Noida were postponed due to pending censor edits and missing content files.
Mumbai also saw disruptions at well-known theatres in Bandra and Goregaon, where evening shows had to be cancelled after digital keys did not arrive on time. The situation became worse for regional versions of the film. Many theatres in Chennai, Hyderabad, Kerala, and Karnataka reportedly cancelled Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada previews because the dubbed versions were not delivered.
Director Aditya Dhar later apologised publicly and said that the team was working to fix the issue as soon as possible. He confirmed that some regional shows had to be pushed to later dates due to technical delays. PVR INOX issued a public apology following widespread cancellations and significant delays. Users slammed them for no refunds despite cancellation due to their fault.
Despite the chaos, the film has still managed to earn strong numbers at the box office. According to trade reports, Dhurandhar 2 has already collected more than Rs 52 crore gross in India, with worldwide earnings crossing Rs 75 crore.
The film follows undercover agent Jaskirat Singh Rangi, played by Ranveer Singh, who goes deep inside the criminal underworld under the name Hamza Ali Mazari. The sequel shows his rise as a powerful figure while continuing the intense story from the first part.
