Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 18: Ranveer Singh Starrer Sees Its 1st Biggest Drop After 2 Weeks Of Unstoppable Run, Eyes Stree 2 And Chhaava’s Lifetime Earnings

Dhurandhar box office collection Day 18 shows a big dip after two weeks, but Ranveer Singh’s film stays strong and targets Stree 2 and Chhaava.

Dhurandhar has finally slowed down at the box office, but the story is far from over. After two weeks of a dream run, the Ranveer Singh-starrer saw its first major drop on Day 18. Even then, the numbers remain strong and clearly show that the film is still in solid shape.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the period spy thriller has already rewritten several box office records. As of Day 18, Dhurandhar has collected around Rs 571.75 crore at the Indian box office. Its worldwide total now stands at an impressive Rs 872.25 crore. These figures place the film among the biggest blockbusters of the year.

On its third Monday, Dhurandhar earned Rs 16 crore in India. This marked a sharp fall of nearly 58 percent compared to its third Sunday, when the film had collected Rs 38.5 crore. This is the biggest single-day drop the film has seen so far. However, trade experts point out that staying in double digits even in the third week is a strong sign.

The drop comes after a historic third weekend. Over those three days, Dhurandhar earned close to Rs 100 crore in India. This is the highest third-weekend collection ever recorded by an Indian film. Thanks to this run, the film also became the fastest Hindi movie to cross the Rs 500 crore mark domestically.

In the process, Dhurandhar pushed past Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, which had collected Rs 553.87 crore in India. The Ranveer Singh film is now aiming higher. Its next domestic targets include Stree 2 at Rs 597.99 crore and Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava at Rs 601.54 crore. Another major milestone on the list is Kantara: Chapter 1, which stands at Rs 622.43 crore across all languages. Industry watchers are keen to see if Dhurandhar can cross these numbers by the coming weekend.

Globally, the film has already made history. With Rs 872.25 crore worldwide, Dhurandhar is now the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025. It has overtaken Chhaava, which ended its global run at around Rs 807 crore. It has also gone past Kantara: Chapter 1, which earned Rs 852.31 crore worldwide.

Not just that, Dhurandhar has also edged ahead of Stree 2, which collected Rs 857.15 crore globally. This makes it the 12th highest-grossing Indian film worldwide of all time. The next big target is Secret Superstar, which earned Rs 912.75 crore. If the current momentum holds, that milestone does not look out of reach.

That said, new competition is around the corner. In three days, Dhurandhar will face fresh releases, including Sameer Vidhwans’ romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday. This could impact screen count and collections in urban centres.

About the film, Dhurandhar is inspired by real-life missions of the Research and Analysis Wing. Ranveer Singh plays a sharp undercover intelligence officer leading a high-risk operation across international borders. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun.

Made on a reported budget of Rs 250–280 crore, the film is among the most expensive Hindi projects of 2025. Its long runtime of over three and a half hours drew mixed reviews, but audiences turned up in huge numbers.
