Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 40: Aditya Dhar’s period spy thriller Dhurandhar continues to perform at the box office even on Day 40. While most films slow down by the sixth week, Dhurandhar has shown a rare hold, even recording slight growth on Tuesday. The film’s steady performance comes as Prabhas’ pan-India release The Raja Saab struggles, earning lower than Ranveer Singh starrer in the Hindi market.
Already the highest-grossing Indian film domestically and the fourth highest-grossing globally, Dhurandhar continues to dominate screens. With no major Hindi releases this week, the film remains the top choice for audiences.
Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 40
According to Sacnilk, Dhurandhar earned an estimated Rs 2.5 cr net in India on Day 40. This was slightly higher than Monday’s Rs 2.35 cr, showing the film still draws audiences. During its sixth weekend, the spy thriller earned Rs 3.5 cr on Friday, Rs 5.75 cr on Saturday and Rs 6.15 cr on Sunday.
This takes Week 6 collections to around Rs 20.25 cr. With this, the film has beaten Stree 2, which previously held the record for the highest sixth-week collection at Rs 18.6 cr. Even on its 40th day, Dhurandhar outperformed other Hindi releases – Ikkis earned Rs 40 lakh on Day 13, while the Hindi dubbed version of The Raja Saab collected Rs 1.50 cr on Day 5. Kartik Aaryan’s Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri has already exited theatres after earning Rs 33 cr domestically.
In India, the film’s total collection after 40 days stands around Rs 810 cr. It is set to beat Pushpa 2’s record of the highest Hindi grosser today.
Worldwide, Dhurandhar has earned Rs 1262.50 cr. It has surpassed KGF: Chapter 2 (Rs 1215 cr) and RRR (Rs 1230 cr), becoming the fourth highest-grossing Indian film globally.

Ranveer Singh Starrer Creates Ticket Sales Record
Apart from box office collections, Dhurandhar has sold an estimated 13.63 million tickets, making it one of the top five Indian films with the highest ticket sales ever. It is now close to overtaking Kantara: Chapter 1 (14.1 million tickets), though surpassing Baahubali 2 and KGF: Chapter 2 will remain a challenge. This milestone further confirms its blockbuster status.
Dhurandhar will face minor competition from upcoming releases like Happy Patel: Khataranak Jasoos and Rahu Ketu. Its next major challenge comes on January 23 with Border 2.
As the film nears the end of its theatrical run, fans are already looking forward to Dhurandhar Part 2, set to release in March 2026.
