What To Expect From Part 2 Of Ranveer Singh Starrer
The first Dhurandhar introduced audiences to Hamza Ali Mazari, played by Ranveer Singh. Undercover as death-row inmate Jaskirat Singh Rangi, Hamza infiltrates Karachi’s Lyari underworld to dismantle a terrorist-ISI network. Tasked by IB Chief Ajay Sanyal (R. Madhavan), he gains the trust of gangster Rehman Dakait (Akshaye Khanna). The story took a shocking turn when Hamza realised weapons he helped procure were used in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Burdened by guilt, he teams up with SP Chaudhary Aslam (Sanjay Dutt) to eliminate Rehman and consolidate power.
The sequel, releasing on March 19, 2026, promises bigger action and international espionage. Hamza will face the mastermind “Bade Sahab” (Major Iqbal, played by Arjun Rampal). The film will explore Jaskirat’s recruitment from death row and his transformation into a covert operative. R Madhavan’s character (Ajay Sanyal) will play a bigger role, guiding Hamza through a dark world of politics and revenge. The film will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
