Diljit Dosanjh Releases New Song DON With Shah Rukh Khan; Fans Call Singer 'Diamond of Panjab'

Diljit Dosanjh released his new song Don with a special feature from Shah Rukh Khan himself. The song was teased a day earlier with a 30 second video on Diljit’s social media platforms.

Diljit Dosanjh Collaborates With Shah Rukh Khan For Don

Dilit Dosanjh has been on everyone’s playlist for over a decade and with the Punjabi singer-actor constantly outdoing himself there seems to be no ceiling for his artistry. Following this upward trend, Diljit collaborated with the King of Bollywood for his new song Don.

Diljit Dosanjh in Don Music Video

The song opens with Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic Don voice as he delivers the same dialogue as the teaser. The Don actor says, “Purani Kahawat Hai, ki sabse upar jana hai to bahot saari mehnat chahiye. Lekin agar sabse upar tikna hai, to maa ki dua chahiye. Tumhara mujhtak pahuchna mushkil hi nahi, namumnkin hai, kyuki dhool kitni bhi uchi chali jaaye, kabhi asmaan ko ganda nahi kar sakti.”

The video features Diljit Dosanjh putting his style on display for the world as he exits a helicopter, straight into a Rolls Royce in a feel similar to gangster films as the masked breakdancers take over the frame. Moreover, it also features a moment from one of his Dil-Luminati concerts where his mother cried after seeing him perform. Diljit also dedicated a couple lines to his mother and how he puts her over everybody.

Fans React To Diljit Dosanjh New Song Don

From the teaser release of the song yesterday, fans have been looking forward to the song as Diljit decided to make it a surprise drop for his fans. Since the song dropped a couple hours ago, fans have been sharing their thoughts regarding it. Most of the comments under the music video are SRK fans who are happy to see him collaborate with Diljit Dosanjh. Other comments under the video are celebrating the unapologetically Punjabi identity that the singer is representing with this song.

All in all, the song is Diljit’s statement to his haters as he flaunts his confident nature and many accomplishments in the video.
