The monumental success of actor’s last offering ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ — the biggest hit of 2021 — cemented him as a pan-India star and fans wait for his every update with bated breath. Much to the anticipation of fans, the Icon Star stepped out of his home to wish fans on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.
Allu Arjun Greets Fans On Diwali
Allu Arjun enjoys a massive fan following and the actor never fails in reciprocating their love. To mark the festival of light Diwali, the actor treated fans with a rare insight into his celebrations with family. The Pushpa star came outside his home along with his kids Arha and Ayaan to wish the shutterbugs stationed there. Flaunting his ever charming smile, the actor wished everyone with folded hands. While Allu Arjun looked as dashing as ever in his all-black ethnic attire, the kids, too, donned their traditional best outfits. Here, take a look:
Allu Arjun’s wife Sneha Reddy also took to her Instagram space to share a sneak peek into their Diwali celebrations. In one of the pictures shared by the star’s wife, the couple was seen posing with their extended family including Niharika Konidela, Vaisshnav Tej, Sai Dharam Tej, Sushmitha and Sreeja Kalyan. The Allu family had hosted the mega bash at their residence in Hyderabad.
Allu Arjun: Indian of the Year
Allu Arjun has many feathers in his cap with the latest being the honorary title of CNN-News 18 Indian of the Year. 20 year in the movie business and this was his first award in the North, thanks to the Pushpa wave which doesn’t seem to die down even months after the release pf the film. Speaking about the new wave of pan-Indian films, the actor said, “Indian Cinema, India Kabhi jhukega nahin (Indian cinema, India will never bow down), making a reference to one of the famous dilaogues from Puhspa.
Pushpa 2 or Pushpa: The Rule
The anticipation of Pushpa 2 is high among fans, owing to the masala entertainment served by franchise’s first part. The second instalment of the film, also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, went on floors earlier this month. Directed by Sukumar, who also helmed the first part, Pushpa 2 is expected to release in mid 2023. More details into the film are awaited.
