Bollywood has a vast repertoire of films that celebrate the festive spirit. They cater to every taste and inclination, be it family drama, love story, historical period films or action thriller, there is a wide variety to choose from.

Pathaan (2023)

Raanjhanaa (2013)
This sensitive romantic drama delicately interweaves a poignant story of a Hindu girl and a Muslim boy who fall in love against all odds. Directed by Anand L. Rai, the movie stars Sonam Kapoor and Dhanush in lead roles and is a masterful exploration of the complex interplay between religion, love, and social norms. Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015)
This Salman Khan starrer is an inspiring story of kindness, friendship, and humanity. Also featuring Kareena Kapoor and child actor Harshaali Malhotra, the Kabir Khan-directed film broke all box office records. The perfect film to enjoy with your loved ones during Eid.
My Name Is Khan (2010)
Shah Rukh Khan gave one of his finest performances in this iconic movie. A true representation of the Muslim community as minorities, the film is the story of a specially-abled man Rizwan Khan who wants to tell the world that every Khan is not a terrorist. A must-watch on Eid.
Veer Zara (2004)
It's has been more that 20 years and we're still not over the magic Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta on-screen chemistry in lead roles. dIrected by Yash Chopra, Veer Zara is the story of two Eponymous star-crossed lovers. Its theme pertained to a shared Punjabi culture, secularism and feminism, among others. The film is considered as one of the greatest romantic films of Indian film history.
Pakeezah (1972)
The film has timeless melodies in songs like Chalte Chalte Yuhi Koi Mil Gaya Ttha, Teer-E-Nazar Dekhenge, Thare Rahiyo Ho Banke Yaar Re, Inhi Logon Ne Le Lee Na Dupatta Mera. Meena Kumari played the tawaif Sahib Jaan and music by Ghulam Mohammed made Pakeezah an iconic film.
