Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa are back on the big screen with Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, which released today (October 21) amid Diwali celebrations. The romantic drama opened alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Thamma with fewer screens. Fans had high expectations thanks to the trailer, songs and the star cast, making it one of the year’s most awaited films.

Directed by Milap Zaveri, the film has received mixed reviews (mostly positive online. Viewers are especially praising the chemistry between Harshvardhan and Sonam, which forms the heart of the story.

About The Film

The movie follows Vikramaditya (played by Harshvardhan Rane), a passionate artist who falls in love with Adaa (a free-spirited woman played by Sonam Bajwa). His love slowly turns into obsession, testing the boundaries of devotion and desire. The story explores intense emotions, heartbreak and the struggles of love, all set against a rich musical backdrop.

Produced by Anshul Rajendra Garg and Dinesh Jain under Desi Movies Factory, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat runs for 141 minutes. Its soundtrack, created by Kunaal Vermaa, Kaushik-Guddu, Annkur R Pathakk, Rajat Nagpal, Rahul Mishra and DJ Chetas, is already earning praise for adding depth to the emotional plot. Notably, the film received an ‘A’ (Adults Only) certificate from the CBFC, becoming the first Diwali release in over twenty years to do so.
