Ek Din Teaser: Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi starrer Ek Din teaser was released on January 16 and quickly grabbed attention online. Backed by Aamir Khan Productions, the film promises an old-school romantic story set amid snow-covered mountains. However, instead of praise, the teaser has received mixed reactions, with many viewers questioning the lead pair’s chemistry and Sai Pallavi’s Hindi accent.
What’s In Ek Din Teaser?
The one-minute-eight-second teaser presents a soft and emotional love story. It opens with Junaid Khan’s character admiring Sai Pallavi’s Meera. He says, “Your smile, Meera. I like it a lot. I don’t know…if I can win your heart or not. But what’s the point of dreams…if they aren’t beyond our reach.”
The visuals show them spending time together, travelling through scenic hill locations, sharing quiet moments and also appearing tense in parts.
Towards the end, Meera reflects on the difference between films and real life. She says, “Films have so much wonder in them, no? So magical. But in real life…nothing like that ever happens.” Junaid’s character replies, “Sometimes, it can happen. Magic.”
Ek Din teaser does not reveal much about the story or Junaid’s character, but it hints at a slow, nostalgic romance.
Netizens Criticise Sai Pallavi’s Accent In Teaser
Soon after its release, the teaser faced criticism on social media, especially on Reddit. Many users felt the chemistry between Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi did not work. Sai Pallavi’s Hindi accent also became a major talking point.
Junaid Khan, who is Aamir Khan’s son, also faced criticism. Some viewers felt his performance looked sincere, while others described it as flat and lacking emotional impact. For them, the teaser did not fully justify the buzz around his casting in a romantic lead role.
