Elvish Yadav, known for his YouTube sketches and reality show wins, is now stepping into the world of acting. The Laughter Chefs 2 and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner has reportedly begun filming for his first debut project, which is a web series currently being shot in Bhopal.

Elvish Yadav Begins His Acting Debut Journey

As per a report by India Today, a source close to the project confirmed that Elvish has started working on his acting debut. The source revealed, “Elvish has been looking to transition into acting for a while now, and this project aligns perfectly with his vision. He is shooting in Bhopal and is quite excited about the new phase of his career.”

This new step marks a big shift in Elvish’s career. He gained popularity with his YouTube content - funny videos, lifestyle vlogs, and social commentary. His fame grew massively after he became the first wildcard contestant to win Bigg Boss OTT 2 in 2023.

Elvish’s new journey reminds fans of Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui, who made his acting debut with First Copy, a thriller series on MX Player. The show is now set for a second season after a positive reception from fans.

Before starting this new chapter, Elvish also won Laughter Chefs Season 2 with Karan Kundrra. He celebrated the win with a social media post and wrote, “One more trophy added! We won LC Season 2. Thank you, everyone, for showering so much love and support throughout the season. Words can’t express how grateful I am. Thank you for always supporting me. Love you all.”

He also gave credit to Karan in his vlog and said that 99% credit goes to Karan, adding that he was the one who worked harder.

Coming back to his acting project, the web series details are still under wraps, but fans are eager to see how Elvish performs in an acting role. Earlier this year, he was also linked to Khatron Ke Khiladi, but that plan didn’t go forward as the season was shelved.

Though he continues to make headlines for controversies (including a recent viral video where he was seen yelling at a fan and criticism over photos from London), Elvish continues to grow in popularity.
