Elvish Yadav Gets Relief as NDPS Act Removed in Snake Venom Case: Noida Police Admit Mistake

Elvish Yadav: Noida Police Mistake Leads to Relief from NDPS Act Charges

Elvish Yadav

YouTuber Elvish Yadav’s recent brush with the law has taken an unexpected turn. Initially arrested for allegedly supplying snake venom at a party, the case has seen a surprising development. Noida Police have admitted a mistake and dropped the serious NDPS Act charges against him. Let’s delve into the background of this case.

Background – Snake Venom Case

The Noida Police arrested Elvish last Sunday. They also apprehended his friends Ishwar and Vinay in connection with the case. Ishwar reportedly owns the banquet hall where the party took place. Police rescued nine snakes and seized 20 ml of snake venom during a raid at the location.

NDPS Act Mistake

Initially, things looked serious for Elvish. Police charged him under the NDPS Act, a strict law against narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. However, the situation changed course when the police acknowledged an “Clerical Error.” They admitted that charging Elvish under the NDPS Act was a mistake.

Downgraded Charges

With the NDPS Act charges removed, Elvish will now face a lesser offense under Section 20 of the same Act. This section deals with less severe violations compared to Section 22, which was initially applied.

Past Controversies and Collaborations

Prior to his arrest, Elvish Yadav was embroiled in a controversy with fellow YouTuber Maxtern, which initially sparked outrage when a video surfaced showing Yadav purportedly slapping Maxtern. However, it was later revealed that the altercation was staged as a marketing stunt. Following this revelation, Yadav and Maxtern collaborated on a song titled ‘Rao Saab Rollin’.

Investigation Continues

The Noida Police are still investigating the case. Based on video evidence, they plan to question more people, including singer Fazilpuria.
