The film features Bigg Boss 19 fame Mridul Tiwari’s sister Pragati Tiwari, Vishal Mohan, Ankit Bhadana, Suwinder Vicky, Mansi Rawat and Deepak Kapoor. She said, “This film is a fictional romantic love triangle. It does not promote or disrespect any caste, religion, or community. The project has been certified for release by the Central Board of Film Certification, and the title is officially registered with the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association.”
Pragati emphasised that the film is purely fictional and not intended to offend any group. Despite her clarification, the controversy has shown little sign of slowing down.

About Yadav Ji Ki Love Story Controversy
The situation escalated beyond online criticism when legal action followed. Reports indicate that the controversy first erupted in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal district earlier this month. Community members and several Hindu organisations raised objections to the teaser and promotional content.
Protests soon spread to districts such as Mainpuri and Firozabad. Demonstrators submitted memorandums to local authorities, urging officials to halt the film’s release.
Subsequently, an FIR was registered based on a complaint filed by a local resident in Sambhal. The complaint named producer Sandeep Tomar, director Ankit Bhadana, and lead actors Pragati Tiwari and Vishal Mohan. The case was reportedly filed under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), citing allegations of promoting enmity between groups.
Despite the growing backlash, the makers of Yadav Ji Ki Love Story have not confirmed whether they will alter the film’s content or change its title. This silence has left both supporters and critics awaiting an official statement.
