A Seoul-based BBQ restaurant just shook the K-pop fandom by sharing a video of autographs from BTS’ Jungkook, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, and SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu and Jeonghan. Fans quickly jumped to the conclusion that the four stars, famously part of the “97-liners” group, had a secret dinner together.

Apgujeong Matzip, known for celebrity visits, posted the now-viral clip. In no time, social media was buzzing with theories. Was this a surprise get-together of some of K-pop’s most beloved idols?

Did BTS Jungkook, Cha Eun Woo, Mingyu And Jeonghan Really Meet Up?

The signatures shown in the video sparked a flood of fan excitement. Jungkook, Cha Eun Woo, and Mingyu are known for their real-life friendship, and seeing Jeonghan’s name next to theirs only boosted the buzz.

Many fans celebrated the idea of a rare 97-liner hangout. But soon, things didn’t add up.

Truth Behind Viral Autographs Revealed

Eagle-eyed fans pointed out a key detail, like the restaurant had shared the autographs on different dates. That hinted the idols had visited separately, not all at once. There were no group pictures or timestamps to confirm they dined together.

And then there’s the military angle. Jungkook enlisted in December 2023 and is set to complete service in June 2025. Jeonghan began his alternative service in September 2024. That makes a recent group dinner outing practically impossible for the two of them.

On the other hand, Cha Eun Woo and Mingyu haven’t enlisted yet. Cha Eun Woo is scheduled to join the military on July 28, 2025. PLEDIS Entertainment hasn’t shared any enlistment details for Mingyu. So, it's very likely that just these two visited the restaurant recently.

Yes, the autographs at the restaurant are legit. But no, there’s no solid proof that Jungkook, Cha Eun Woo, Mingyu and Jeonghan dined together at the same time. It’s more likely the signatures were collected over separate visits.

The video triggered a lot of wishful thinking, but this time, the 97-liner dinner reunion was just a rumour.
