The leader of the Samajwadi Party, Fahad Ahmad, made light of Swara Bhasker’s controversy over calling him “bhai” in a tweet on Sunday. He claimed that at least the Sanghis have acknowledged that a Hindu and a Muslim may be brother and sister. Accept the fact that a husband and wife can also make jokes, Fahad stated.
As Swara Bhasker announced her engagement to Fahad Ahmad, a tweet in which the Bollywood actor referred to him as “bhai” reappeared, prompting several online commenters to wonder how she could wed someone she referred to as her brother. The tweet from Swara Bhasker wishing Fahad a happy birthday was posted in the first week of February, after they began the formalities for their wedding. Swara wrote, “Bhai ka confidence barkarar rahe.”

The Special Marriage Act, which allows for marriage between two people regardless of faith, was used to legally wed Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad. Nevertheless, because Swara Bhasker has not embraced Islam, Islamic scholars do not consider the marriage to be legitimate under Sharia law, and as a result, the wedding has already generated controversy.
Sawara Bhasker need to convert to Islam said Islam scholars
Yasir Nadeem al Wajidi, an Islamic scholar residing in Chicago, and RJ Sayema engaged in a heated Twitter debate over this matter since the Islamic expert claimed Swara Bhasker’s marriage to Fahad was lawful but unaccepted in Islam. Swara Bhasker cannot marry Fahad without first converting to Islam, according to Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Bareilvi, president of the All India Muslim Jamaat.
