Samantha Ruth Prabhu: South star Samantha Ruth Prabhu attended Citadel premiere in London recently. And now her pictures from the event have taken the internet by storm. Reason? A few fans noted that Samantha has still not removed an old tattoo linked to her former husband Naga Chaitanya.
In the photos shared on social media, Samantha looks beyond stunning in a black co-ord set. However, hawkish fans spotted that the actor still has a ‘Chay’ tattoo on the right side of her rib. The tattoo is linked to her former husband Naga Chaitanya.

The Shakuntam actor had ‘Chay’ tattooed for her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya on the right side of her rib when the two were together. Recently she shared some pictures from Citadel London premiere on her Instagram. And now users are surprised that she still carries her former husband’s name tattoo even after separation.
In the past the Shaakuntalam actor had another tattoo that’s dedicated to her debut movie Ye Maaya Chesave with Naga Chaitanya. She got ‘YMC’ inked on the nape of her neck. This movie happened to be the beginning of their love story.
‘Never get a tattoo, ever’
Later she gave a piece of advice to a fan who asked her on Instagram for tattoo suggestions. She said that the person shouldn’t get a tattoo at all. While she did not directly say anything, she responded by saying, “You know the one thing I’d tell my younger self is never ever get a tattoo. Never. Never ever. Ever, get a tattoo.”
Samantha is currently busy with the shooting of the Indian adaptation of Citadel with Varun Dhawan. Directed by Raj and DK, Citadel is an espionage action series created by the Russo brothers’ AGBO. The original series stars Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in lead roles.
Her last outing was Gunasekhar’s mythological film Shaakuntalam. The film failed to impress the audiences and minted only Rs 10 crores in three days at the box office. She will be next seen in Telugu romantic film Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda, directed by Shiva Nirvana.
