FIR Against Tiger Shroff & Disha Patani For Violating Pandemic Norms

Actors Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani were booked for violating COVID-19 norms in Mumbai amid the lockdown-like restrictions on Wednesday.

The duo were reported to be ‘roaming’ without giving any ‘valid reason’ for stepping out after the timings stipulated for essential services. The First Information Report was registered against them under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.

ANI took to Twitter and tweeted, “An FIR has been registered against actors Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani & others for violating COVID-19 restrictions: Mumbai Police” The tweet also mentioned that “The actors were found roaming at Bandstand Promenade & couldn’t give valid reasons to police for being out of their homes after 2 pm”

Reportedly, the rumoured couple was enjoying a drive around Bandra after their gym session. Tiger was sitting in the back seat while Disha was sitting in the front. The actors left after the police checked their Aadhar card and completed other formalities.

The ETimes report stated that the police checked their Aadhar card and some other formalities, following which, the two left.

Numerous other celebrities of the film industry landed in trouble with the authorities over COVID-19 restrictions over the past few weeks. This included Gauahar Khan, who was booked by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation in March for allegedly shooting despite testing positive for COVID-19. Vivek Oberoi was booked in February for not wearing a mask while stepping out.
