Shefali Jariwala still holds her place in all the Indian’s hearts with her Kaanta Laga song. At the time of her passing, she had an estimated net worth of 1 million dollars, roughly 7.5 crores. She became especially famous after her Bigg Boss Season 13 entry when her rumoured past relationship with Sidharth Shukla was confirmed. Now, fans are wondering what could be the reason behind both of them passing so early, that too due to heart attacks!!

Her participation in multiple TV Reality shows, such as Nach Baliye seasons 5 and 7, alongside her husband Parag Tyagi, brings them back into the spotlight. Soon after Shefali’s death was confirmed, her husband, Parag Tyagi, was spotted in an emotionally devastated condition. Parag, right now, holds an estimated 11 crore net worth at the age of 50. He has been part of multiple prominent TV shows and serials all through these years.

We have seen him in Jodha Akbar, Nagin 5, Pavitra Rishta, Brahmarakshas, and many such popular TV serials. He got married to Shefali on August 12, 2014. The couple did not have a baby, and Shefali wanted to adopt a baby girl. She shared this as her dream recently before her demise.   

Did Epilepsy Cause the Kaanta Laga Girl to Die at 42?

On Friday, June 27, Shefali Jariwala was found unresponsive in her apartment. Her husband, along with three others, rushed her to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital, where doctors initially suspected a cardiac arrest. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death.

However, amidst all the possibilities of sudden death, her struggle with epilepsy is also emerging. She has been fighting against epilepsy since she was 15, when she first had seizures. Remembering this, she once said in an interview with ETimes, “I was under tremendous pressure to do well in my studies”. She also blamed her stress for triggering her epilepsy, saying, “Stress and anxiety can lead to seizures. It is interrelated; you could get a seizure due to depression and vice versa”.  

The unexpected death of Shefali Jariwala now kept her fans numbed, scrolling through her old clips on the internet. Such early cases of cardiac arrest are becoming a widespread concern, too. Only the post-mortem report can reveal more about the reason behind the sudden demise of this promising star.
