Gauhar Khan gets engaged to beau Zaid Darbar

After months of beating the bush, actor and former Bigg Boss winner Gauhar Khan announced her engagement to boyfriend Zaid Darbar with a social media post. The couple has been dating for quite some time now but always refrained from commenting about it out in the public even as they kept sharing lovey-dovey pictures with each other on social media.

Sharing the picture of herself along with Zaid Darbar on her Instagram handle, Gauhar simply wrote, “@zaid_darbar” along with engagement ring and heart emojis.

In the picture, Gauhar and Zaid can be seen lost in each other's eyes. They have heaps of balloons lying around them and one of the balloons held by Gauhar has "She said yes" written over it.

Gauhar has donned a simple white and red salwar-suit with floral prints all over it, while Zaid is seen in a mustard yellow shirt paired with faded blue jeans.

As the actress shared the news with her well-wishers, Gauhar’s celebrity friends such as Neha Kakkar, Saina Nehwal, Mandana Karimi, Simran Kaur Mundi, Kishwer Merchantt Rai, Shalmali Kholgade, Jannat Zubair, Pallavi Sharda, Sameera Reddy, Aditi Govitrikar, Shruti Sinha and many others poured in the choicest wishes for her and Zaid.

On the professional front, Gauhar is an actor and television personality. She emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 7 and was seen visiting Bigg Boss 14 house as "toofaani senior."

Zaid, on the other hand, is a social media influencer and choreographer. He is the son of legendary singer Ismail Darbar.

Meanwhile, earlier in an interview, Gauhar had refuted her wedding rumours. She had told IANS that if anything of that sort were to be happened, she'd let her fans know.

Talking about son Zaid's wedding to Gauhar, Ismail Darbar had earlier said that he is still unaware of of it. However, he added that he would suggest Zaid to be careful with his choice as Gauhar is seven years elder to him.
