This time, he is teaming up with Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran for one of the most-awaited films of the year. The film’s title is still a secret, but it will be revealed at the special Globe Trotter event in Hyderabad. The event will take place at Ramoji Film City and will be streamed live on JioHotstar.
SS Rasjamouli Reveals What To Expect From Globe Trotter Event In Hyderabad
Hours before the event, Rajamouli added to the excitement on Saturday. He wrote, “The title of the film will be revealed along with a visual to the world…Once it airs on the big screen at the #GlobeTrotter event, we will make it live online…”
One wrote, “Only Rajamouli can create this kind of curiosity.” Another joked, “Title reveal so secret even the editor probably doesn’t know it yet.”
A third fan added, “India’s very own Indiana Jones is about to reveal.”
Priyanka Chopra (who plays Mandakini in the film) also shared her excitement. She posted an Instagram story from her car while heading to the venue and promised fans behind-the-scenes updates. She said, “Make sure you bring your passports and that you are safe. See you there. I will keep you posted on all the background stuff.” She also shared a photo showing the massive event setup at Ramoji Film City.
Is the Film Titled Varanasi?
The big question on everyone’s mind is the title. The film has been called both GlobeTrotter and Varanasi. While GlobeTrotter was used in hashtags and early promos, reports in late October and early November 2025 suggest that Varanasi will be the final title.
The earlier use of GlobeTrotter confused fans. According to industry sources, it was just a promotional tag highlighting the movie’s globe-spanning adventure. The story includes a major sequence set in Varanasi, which makes the title fitting.

The Globe Trotter event will finally give fans the answers they are waiting for. JioHotstar will be the official live-stream platform, while other outlets may share highlights on YouTube. First-look posters of Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran are already out. Tonight, fans will get their first glimpse of Mahesh Babu’s character along with the official title reveal.
The event is set to start at 7:00 pm IST on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City.
