Golden Globe Awards 2023: SS Rajamouli and actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR will attend the Golden Globes awards event for their film RRR on January 10, 2023 in Los Angeles, California. At the 80th Golden Globes, the Telugu film is nominated in two categories: Best Foreign Film and Best Original Song for the blockbuster song Naatu Naatu. While director Rajamouli has been in the US several times this awards season to screen and present the blockbuster picture, the film's key stars will be promoting the film for the first time in America.

RRR has appeared on various best-of-the-year lists compiled by cinema critics from throughout the world, including the United States. Throughout the current awards season, the team has been lobbying for the Telugu picture, with director Rajamouli attending many chaotic, sold-out screenings of the Indian feature. Naatu Naatu is also nominated for an Oscar in the category of Music (Original Song).

Many celebrities attended the event

According to Variety, which also confirmed the RRR team's attendance, several Hollywood A-listers will attend the upcoming celebration, which is airing live again after a two-year banning of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) following criticism of the group's lack of diverse members as well as complaints of unethical business practices within the organization. Austin Butler, Michelle Williams, Ana de Armas, and Jamie Lee Curtis will attend the star-studded Hollywood event for their respective nominated films, as will filmmakers Steven Spielberg, Rian Johnson, James Cameron, and Guillermo del Toro.
