Happy birthday Kamal Haasan

Legendary actor Kamal Haasan turned 66-year-old today. He has been receiving special birthday wishes from all his fans, however the sweetest so far has come from his daughter Shruti Haasan.

Shruti shared a throwback picture of her with father Kamal Haasan and it is all things sweet, to say the least. In the photo, baby Shruti, wearing a dress, is seen giving daddy Kamal Haasan a hug.

The father-daugter duo was smiling while looking at something, in the vintage photograph. Neither of them posed directly for the camera.

Not just as an actor, Kama is known for his work as a director, producer, screenwriter, dancer and now, even as a politician. Apart from Tamil cinema, Kamal Haasan has worked in Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada films.

Kamal Haasan's fans are celebrating this day by wishing him on all social media platforms.

Apart from social media celebration, his fans have organised several welfare activities across Chennai and other cities. These will be carried out by following the stipulated safety regulations to combat Covid-19 pandemic.

Kamal Haasan is a recipient of four National Film Awards and many other prestigious awards. In 1984, he was awarded the Kalaimamani award, the Padma Shri in 1990, the Padma Bhushan in 2014 and the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Chevalier) in 2016.
