Kangana Ranaut says Politics is Kinder

Kangana Ranaut is getting real about ageing and how politics has made her feel more at home than Bollywood ever did. In a recent Instagram post, the actor-turned-politician opened up about growing older, showing off her natural curls and grey strands, and reflecting on how she now feels accepted without needing to cover up.

Here’s What Kanagana Ranaut Said

Kangana shared a few candid selfies on Instagram with no filters and plenty of confidence. In her caption, she wrote, “My pilgrim soul never feared ageing, but when my film crew saw grey hair, they panicked and used mascaras or colour sprays.”

She continued, “Happy to be in a place where my ageing face or body doesn't take anything away from me. Ageing is such a joy.”

Kangana didn’t stop there and asked, “Do you guys think politics is kinder to older women than movies? I definitely think so.” She wrapped up her post with a bold line: “The most beautiful place in the world is where there is no gap between who you are and how you are perceived.”

Kangana’s New Life In Politics And Upcoming Projects

Kangana is now a BJP Member of Parliament from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. She often shares updates from her political journey, whether it’s Parliament sessions or visits to her home state. Away from film sets and camera touch-ups, she seems more at peace.

On the film front, Kangana was last seen in Emergency, where she played former PM Indira Gandhi. The movie didn’t perform well financially, collecting Rs 23.75 crore worldwide. However, her performance received appreciation from her fans. The ensemble cast also included Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, and Shreyas Talpade. It’s currently available on Netflix.

She’s now gearing up for her Hollywood debut in Blessed Be The Evil, a horror-thriller produced by US-based Lions Movies. The film stars Teen Wolf actor Tyler Posey and Scarlet Rose Stallone and will begin shooting in New York later this year.
