Hari Hara Veera Mallu Box Office Collection Day 1: Pawan Kalyan Starrer Takes DECENT Start Despite Negative Reviews, Fails to Beat…
Hari Hara Veera Mallu opened strong with Rs 44.2 crore on Day 1 (including pre-release screenings) despite negative reviews. Pawan Kalyan’s star power drove massive turnout, especially in Telugu regions.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu finally released in theatres on Thursday after several delays. The film stars Pawan Kalyan in the lead and opened strong at the box office, even though reviews have been mostly negative. As per Sacnilk reports, the movie earned Rs 12.7 crore from preview shows on Wednesday and Rs 31.5 crore on its first full day, making the total opening Rs 44.20 crore in India.
Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, this historical action drama has been in the works for a long time. Although early feedback wasn’t very positive, Pawan Kalyan’s huge fan following brought solid footfalls, especially in Telugu regions. Hyderabad had close to 1,000 shows with 66% occupancy, while Bengaluru and Visakhapatnam also saw strong crowds.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu Box Office Collection Day 1: Pawan Kalyan’s Star Power Lifts The Film
The Hari Hara Veera Mallu box office collection Day 1 shows that Pawan Kalyan still draws massive attention. But the real challenge is how the film performs over the weekend. His past films like Bro, Bheemla Nayak, and Vakeel Saab had good openings but struggled to hold steady collections. With this film getting a limited release in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, its success mostly depends on Telugu audiences.

A Tough Time For Telugu Films In 2025
Telugu cinema hasn’t had many major hits this year. Game Changer, starring Ram Charan, underperformed despite a massive budget. On the other hand, Sankranthiki Vasthunam did fairly well. But the biggest benchmark remains Pushpa 2, which broke records last year. Compared to that, Hari Hara Veera Mallu has had a fair start but will need strong word of mouth and consistent weekend numbers to stay in the race.
