Hindi Heartland Continues to Power Collections
The Hindi version alone contributed ₹15.75 crore from 10,547 shows on Day 5, holding an occupancy of 45 per cent. Trade observers note that the Mirzapur franchise, built on its Prime Video legacy, continues to draw its most loyal audiences from the Hindi-speaking heartland, where the show’s underworld drama and dialect-driven storytelling first found mass popularity.
Telugu Dubbed Version Struggles to Keep Pace
In contrast, the Telugu dubbed version added just ₹0.10 crore from 139 shows on Day 5, recording only 20 per cent occupancy. The wide gap between the Hindi and Telugu numbers highlights that the film’s crossover appeal outside the Hindi belt remains limited, even as the franchise enjoys strong overall recognition.
