While talking about each other's films, Andrew Garfield shared his thoughts about Deadpool X Wolverine, and how Ryan did something unique with it's writing. He said, "As soon as it started, I was like no way...there is no way they allowed him to do all of this." Andrew continued by saying, "You're doing something in writing that I don't know someone else who's doing it." He then goes on to ask him how he wrote in such a unique style and "How did you convince everyone that it would work."

Ryan Reynolds responded by saying that part of his job is to convince the producers to take a risk with their investment. He then reflected on his films that were critically acclaimed but did not perform well commercially. He said that he had this realization about 10 years ago and since then he has worked on catering to both sides.

"Part of my job, well, several parts of my job, which is, one is that I have to convince the studio who is making a significant investment in mine and John Lyle's abiltiy to land the plane on the dime and our job is to return that investment," Reynolds said. "And it really is a big construct of the business and it's something that I found quite illuminative when it really snapped in about 10 years ago to me that that is a part of the job," he continued.

In another part from the interview, Ryan Reynolds shares the how he cried during the scene where Andrew Garfield is shaving Florence Florence Pew's character in the film As We Live In Time. He said that the scene was relatable to him as a parent. He shared that he cried seeing them hold back their emotions in front of their kids to act a good role model, which is a common thing in parenthood.

"You're shaving her head, and it is one of those moments where when you got kids and when you're going through something that is really hard and we pulling back our emotions to stay strong for the kids.." he said. "But that I relate to just so grave and so intense, and parents sort of posturing and faking it around them I found that to be, I sobbed in that scene, I could sob now just thinking about it..."
