Soon after Satluj became unavailable on the streaming platform, Diljit took to social media and posted a powerful scene from the film. Along with it, he wrote:

He also shared a message in Punjabi, saying that “Panjab 95, now titled Satluj, is meeting the same fate as the late Jaswant Singh Khalra.” This message quickly caught the attention of fans, many of whom appreciated the actor for standing by the film and the story it represents.
