Kajol and Twinkle Khanna have been winning hearts with their talk show Two Much. The show has featured many big names, including Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. But fans wanted to know why Shah Rukh Khan did not appear on the show. Shah Rukh has now shared the reason himself.

Shah Rukh Khan Feels Sorry For Missing Kajol And Twinkle Khanna’s Talk Show

He spoke about it with BBC Asian Network and opened up with honesty and humour. Shah Rukh Khan said, “I am doing a film right now! I told her (Kajol). I was injured too, felt really bad. Would have loved to have come on it, except for the food-eating part, there was so much food to eat!”

He then added a heartfelt message for both Kajol and Twinkle. “I am so sorry to you and to Twinkle, really. Just to let you know, I have seen all of them. It is my penance that I wasn’t on the show, so I watch all of it!”

At that time, Shah Rukh was busy shooting for King. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and also stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji. He had also suffered an arm injury, which stopped the shoot for a while. This made his schedule even tighter.

SRK And Kajol Recently Unveiled DDLJ Statue In London

Shah Rukh and Kajol travelled to London for a special moment. They unveiled a bronze statue of their iconic DDLJ pose at Leicester Square. It is the first time an Indian film has received such an honour.

SEK celebrated the moment on Instagram and wrote, “Thrilled to unveil the bronze statue of Raj & Simran at London’s Leicester Square today, celebrating 30 years of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ). Incredibly delighted that DDLJ is the first Indian film to be honoured with a statue in the Scenes in the Square trail.. A big thank you to everyone in the UK for making this possible. Come meet Raj & Simran if and when you are in London… we would love to see you make more memories with DDLJ…”

Meanwhile, he also made headlines recently for a viral moment from a Delhi wedding. Guests kept requesting him to say “Bolo zubaan kesari” line from his Vimal pan masala ad. The request made things a bit awkward because the endorsement has been criticised often. But Shah Rukh managed to handle things.

In the video, he joked with the bride and said, “You’ll get me banned too,” and asked, “Are you my fan, or Vimal’s fan?” He added, “Once you do business with these businessmen, they never let you go. And those gutka guys, man!”

On the work front, Shah Rukh is now focused on Kingm, which is set to release in 2026. An exact date has not been announced yet.
