Ikkis OTT Release: Dharmendra’s Final Film Featuring Agastya Nanda To Stream HERE After Its Theatrical Debut, ‘Mamu’ Abhishek Bachchan Says THIS

Dharmendra’s final film Ikkis, starring Agastya Nanda, releases on Dec 25. It will stream on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical run.

Late Dharmendra’s final film Ikkis is set to release in theatres on December 25, 2025. The war drama stars Agastya Nanda and will also stream on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical run. The makers have not announced the exact OTT release date yet.

Directed by Sriram Raghavan, Ikkis tells the story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. He was one of India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra recipients and showed remarkable bravery during the 1971 Indo-Pak War. Agastya Nanda, son of Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Nikhil Nanda, makes his big-screen debut in the film and brings the young hero to life with dedication.

The film is especially emotional as it marks Dharmendra’s final appearance on screen. He plays the older Arun Khetarpal, adding a moving touch to the story. The cast also features Jaideep Ahlawat and Simar Bhatia in key roles.

Amazon Prime Video Acquires OTT Rights Of Ikkis

Ikkis’ digital streaming rights have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video. The film is part of a bigger multi-film deal with Maddock Films. The deal (signed in August 2025) includes eight upcoming films, such as Thama starring Rashmika Mandanna, Param Sundari with Janhvi Kapoor and sequels like Badlapur 2 and Shiddat 2.

Following the usual 2025 trend, these films will first be released in theatres and later be available exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries. You can expect the OTT premiere soon after the theatrical release.

Abhishek Bachchan Cheers For Agastya Nanda

Abhishek Bachchan has been a strong supporter of his nephew Agastya. He shared behind-the-scenes glimpses of the film on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) and praised both Agastya and the team.

On his IG story, he wrote, “A huge hero of our nation. I am sure you have given him the respect, valour and dignity he truly deserves. You are an immensely sincere actor, and your dedication to portraying Arun ji is so commendable. May God and the audience bless you. #KeepFighting TheGoodFight.”

About Ikkis

Ikkis focuses on Arun Khetarpal’s courage and patriotism during the 1971 war. The trailer shows Agastya as a young soldier ready to face danger and death at just 21.

The film will release on December 25 and will clash at the box office with Kartik Aaryan’s Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. With its historical significance, strong performances, and Dharmendra’s final appearance, Ikkis is expected to draw patriotic audiences and cinema lovers alike.
