Is Shamita Shetty dating actor Aamir Ali? Bigg Boss OTT fame breaks silence after video went viral

Shamita Shetty and Aamir Ali are said to be the newest pair in town. Their friendship sparked these rumors as they exited Samita Bangargi and Ashish Chowdhry's anniversary party on Friday night. A video circulated online showing Aamir taking Shamita to her car and putting a kiss on her cheek as he waved her goodbye. This immediately sparked rumors that the two were in a relationship.

We performed some research and discovered that Shamita and Aamir have known each other for a long time. A source told ETimes, “They have been friends for a while. They have, however, been in contact more recently. We'll have to wait and see if their friendship develops into a romantic partnership." Shamita and Aamir could not be reached for comment despite repeated attempts.

Shamitya Shetty reacted to the rumors

Later that day, the actress turned to Twitter to deny the rumour. She stated that she is 'happy and single right now,' and that people should not be 'narrow-minded'. She wrote.  "I'm perplexed by society and its handy prudish worldview all around. Why is every activity and every person scrutinized or judged without a reality check? There are possibilities beyond the NETIZENS' narrow-minded notions." That wasn't the only thing. She also added, "It's past time we opened our minds to it! Let's focus on more essential matters in this country while we're single and happy!"

Shamita formerly had a relationship with her Bigg Boss OTT co-star Raqesh Bapat. They did, however, part ways peacefully in July of last year. Aamir's marriage to Sanjeeda Shaikh ended in divorce a year ago.
